Unicef

For more than 53 years, this global organization has helped governments, communities and families in 161 countries make a better, safer, healthier place for children. Created at the end of World War II to relieve the suffering of children in war-torn Europe, it helped put the pieces back together for the children's ravaged lives by reopening schools, and creating safe places for them when catastrophic disruptions occurred.

Unicef is a major force in advocating for Children's Rights, helping to provide immunizations, making pregnancy and childbirth safe, and encouraging the care and stimulation needed to give a child the best possible start in life. Unicef works hard to bring ideas, resources and support to the areas they are needed most. They could use your help!

The reward of a thing well done, is to have done it.
