Boys and Girls Club

Build a Foundation for the Future! The Boys and Girls Club was founded in 1954 by Allison Honer and Myford Irvine. The clubs were created to: promote the positive and healthy development of youth, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances. The clubs provide a wide range of recreational, social and pre-employment services to as many children and youths as possible during afternoons, evenings and weekends in the neighborhoods in which they live.

Boys and Girls Club offers a variety of programs: Smart Moves which provides drug and alcohol abuse prevention activities; Kids C.A.F.E. which feeds lunches to neighborhood children and teens; Fifth Dimension which provides computer skills taught by education students; Power Hour which provides homework help and educational reinforcement activities.

You can help the Boys and Girls Clubs with sponsorships, specific club programs, donated products, and cash contributions. It makes a difference! Really!
