Helen Keller Foundation

The Helen Keller Foundation for Research and Education is committed to continuing the work for which Ms Keller dedicated her life. They have found that an astonishing 80% of blindness is preventable. Studies also show that 11 million children die needlessly each year from diseases involving malnutrition, and malnutrition obviously affects vision.

The Helen Keller Foundation and Helen Keller International are making global efforts to end blindness and deafness through medical research. Their mission echoes the belief that "no matter the obstacle, anything is possible".
